Ride for Autism And Awareness
Each year during the world Autism Awareness month of April, we organize a ride for Autism awareness and fundraise to equip Autism classes and set up Occupational therapy centers in needy public schools. We endeavor to celebrate World Autism Day (2nd April) by flagging off the ride, we also host free medical camp, disability assessment & registration, fun day for kids & other beneficial services for persons with Neurodevelopmental disabilities & all other disabilities.
The annual ride will take place from 29th March 2023 to 2nd April 2023 starting in Machakos County then to Taita Taveta and finally to the coastal Kilifi county where we shall celebrate World Autism Day, in tow with a mobile clinic bus dubbed “The Neuro Caravan” stopping to serve persons with disabilities in the 3 counties.
The bikers doing the “under 24 hour bike challenge “shall be flagged off in Nairobi ( NCPWD offices) on 31st March 2023. They will cycle from Nairobi to Kilifi County for the World Autism Day celebrations which is the highlight of the 4-day event.
The objective of the ride is “Autism Awareness for Equity in Education & Health”
